PhD Candidate in Medical Sciences
Hello there, and cheers for dropping by! I’m a PhD candidate in Medical Sciences at the University of Brasília, and this space is where I share my academic journey, research projects, and a few thoughts on the world of brain science. My work centres on the neuroscience of ageing. I’m especially interested in how the brain changes over time, what drives those changes, and how we might better understand, monitor, and support brain health as we grow older. From cognitive decline and sleep patterns to the brain’s own clearance systems, I’m curious about the mechanisms behind healthy and pathological ageing. I also have a real interest in the role of technology in all this. Particularly how data science, neuroimaging, and computational tools can help us uncover patterns and push the boundaries of what we know. If you’re into ageing research, neuroscience, or just enjoy a bit of science-meets-tech curiosity, you’re in the right place. Have a look around and feel free to get in touch! 😉
